The PH 5 Mini Monochrome Suspension Lamp was designed by Poul Henningsen for the brand Louis Poulsen. Louis Poulsen is one of Denmark's most prestigious lighting brands, having blazed a trail since 1874. Since then, it has introduced iconic models like the Paris Lamp - created by Poul Henningsen, who also devised the PH 5 Mini Monochrome Suspension Lamp. Henningsen was a huge influence on Danish design. PH5 arrived late in his career in 1958 and so embodies all of his technical experience, offering both muted tones and visual elegance.Thanks to its multiple shade design, the PH 5 Mini Monochrome Suspension Lamp manages to mute the light produced by a E14 bulb, turning it into a restrained light source which retains its power to illuminate larger spaces. The shades are stacked as upturned dishes nested inside one another, and the whole ensemble measures 16.3 x 30 cm. Their aluminium materials keep the weight low, while two-toned paintwork sets up an appealing colour contrast. Finally, each PH 5 Mini Monochrome Suspension Lamp comes with a 300cm cable, enabling owners to deploy it in almost any room of the home.
